Thank you for today’s lesson! As always, it was wonderful :) IELTS Task 2 can feel overwhelming, but your teaching method makes learning easier and more enjoyable. I’m genuinely grateful for your lessons!!!
recommend to all English learners
Robert is an excellent teacher.
We discussed a lot of writing strategies. It was useful to me this time
- Klara has been a positive and vibrant teacher who helped me to strength my weaknesses and recognise my skills
As usual, we discussed the writing task. Teacher Jake always corrects it thoroughly, gives me advice, tells me how to improve the whole writing CONCRETELY as well as clearly points out the specific aspects that I have to enhance, which are pretty useful, as I can search for relevant info (ex: some collocations) after class or self-study. After that, we usually take a look at a sample essay and the teacher also evaluates it, telling me which sentences I can learn and which are actually not good. In fact, this is one of the most important things that I have learnt from his classes so far. No matter in speaking or writing, teacher Jake emphasised multiple times the importance of “learning from samples.” To be honest, I think this is a key point that is easy to forget or miss when it comes to learning. I mean, as learners, we must have already know that practice is necessary, but it’s hard to notice that learning from others is EQUALLY important. All in all, I’m quite thankful for teaching me this method. (also many others)
