Kudzai Sigauke, a singer; songwriter; filmmaker; and admin assistant also known as Sisiyanti. I am a proud mother of one, a native English speaker, based in the beautiful tourist town - Capetown, South Africa. I completed a bachelor's degree in Marketing and business management at Damelin college university in Johannesburg. However, l am still paying off my student tuition debt to the college, hence the school is still holding my degree certificate until the debt is fully paid off. I have no experience in formal teaching, but l do believe as a singer songwriter teaching has always been part of my job. I have a passion for community engagement, making me an ideal candidate for a teaching role. It is my goal to combine my experience with my ability to be a compassionate, hard working, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to anyone that wants to learn and larger community. I believe in learning by doing - Total Physical Response. First concentrate on the aural comprehension and everything else will naturally follow later. My teaching philosophy is that:- teaching and education are not one size fits all . People are different - each student has their own way of learning. So if a student cannot learn the way a teacher teaches, maybe the teacher should teach in ways the student can learn. Also allow room to make mistakes because mistakes are an invaluable part of learning.
