Mandy is a Mandarin teacher who teaches my son basic oral skills. We have attended two classes so far, and the experience has been very good. She is patient and gentle with children, and my son feels comfortable learning from her.

Jia Jia is an amazing teacher and a wonderful person! I really enjoy our lessons, they’re always fun, engaging, full of new expressions and positive energy. She’s dedicated, patient, kind and has a great sense of humor. And I love that we speak Chinese the whole time - even when a word is difficult, Jiajia manages to explain it perfectly in Chinese without using English, but her English is also very good! She also teaches lots of modern and useful words that you would never find in a textbook, which makes her lessons feel very real and up-to-date. I’m learning so much thanks to her and truly look forward to every class. I highly recommend Jia Jia!

I’ve been studying with Daphne since the very beginning, and her classes have always been clear, fun, and easy to follow. Now that I’ve started the Business Chinese course focusing on hotel and front desk services, I find the hotel check-in theme super practical and interesting. It really connects what we learn in class to real hospitality situations, especially how to use polite expressions naturally when talking with guests in Chinese. I love how each lesson shows the connection between language and culture through real-life hotel situations. It gives me confidence to use Chinese more naturally in professional settings.

Ms Tina is enthusiastic and uses flexible teaching methods. Lessons are lively and engaging. Delivers crisp, standard pronunciation while building tone accuracy and natural speaking ease. Corrections are patient, and examples are practical and relatable. Highly recommended!

My lessons with Cherry Laoshi are always so fun!! We learn new vocabulary and Chinese characters related to a topic and practice speaking. The topics are very relevant to daily life so i can use them when i travel to China 😀

The teacher uses a variety of resources to make learning the language easier. She also makes an effort to help us with the language. And answer any questions we may have about the language and provides examples to help us understand the topic. I really recommend this teacher.

Teacher is great, she thinks of new things for me to improve on. We started off on individual character pronunciation practice, then moved to reading paragraphs, and now we're having conversations where she can listen for mistakes. At each stage, I can feel myself improving a lot!

I’d highly recommend Renee if you are starting or continuing your Chinese language education. Renee is an energetic and patient teacher who is easy to connect with and learn from. She is proficient in both Mandarin and English which creates a fantastic learning environment for someone trying to learn to Chinese. She was prepared with material for our class and gave plenty of time for speaking practice. She also tailors the material and lesson plan to your interests and goals.

Eva is so warm and welcoming! She has incredible patience with my 9-year-old son. I was worried it might be hard for him to switch from learning simplified Chinese to traditional Chinese, but Eva made him feel completely at ease, and the transition was so smooth. He actually enjoys going to her class — which is a big deal, because he used to hate regular classroom lessons!

Angela has been amazing and communicated very well with me ahead of each of our lessons schedules for my 10 year old daughter. My 10 DD has enjoyed it and told me their lesson today was about Halloween.

Another fun and interactive class with Ms Felicia! We have 2 back-to-back classes with Ms Felicia for my children with different Chinese levels. Ms Felicia would prepare different class materials according to my children’s needs. Looking forward to our class next week :)

I enjoyed today’s class. We learned a poem, and I’ll practice reciting it for next time. You always teach so much in a short time, and I like how you share Chinese culture during the lessons, it makes learning fun.

Teacher Sophia has been giving lessons to my 2 kids for 2.5 years. She's very patient and always well-prepared. She's engaging with them and does not rush them for an answer. My kids usually need a few minutes to translate English to Chinese in their heads, and I appreciate that she does not rush them. She's also very flexible and easy to work with. I can let her know bigger picture items that I want the kids to learn, or week to week homework help. During the school year, she can help them with Chinese school homework, and during the summer time, she can help make Chinese fun for them by showing them videos and comics and discussing together.

It's important to have training for some countries where teaching and approaches are changing. It's important to take refresher courses on new methods and know the difference between American English and Standard English. It's important to have a good connection and not blame the student. It's important to know how to use Zoom. There's a lot of superficiality and a lack of willpower.
