My son’s friend took Abacus lessons and was able to do amazing mental arithmetic at a young age which got us interested to enroll him in some abacus training. We took a trial Abacus lesson with Ms.Xiao Ou, and we couldn't be more impressed. From day one, it was clear she's dedicated and patient, offering lessons fluently in both English and Chinese—perfectly matching my son's learning style as his native language is English.
Each session with Xiao Ou is thoughtfully organized. She presents clear, step‑by‑step instruction, and assigns purposeful homework to reinforce each concept—exactly what we'd hoped for in a math tutor.
After his very first lesson, my son came bursting with excitement: “I really like her lessons!” That kind of enthusiasm speaks volumes about Xiao Ou’s teaching.
We set up an extra camera to capture his abacus work during lessons, and it works beautifully. Xiao Ou adapts seamlessly to this setup, guiding him through each problem with precision and care.
