Excellent third lesson with Melody. After some homework between lessons, and opportunities to practice saying nouns and double and triple consonants during the lesson (and encouragement to try and not worry about 'getting it wrong'), I am feeling much more confident when trying to pronounce words.
My timing has always been my biggest problem. Today after class I used the metronome possibly for the first time. Definite improvement.
Brilliant lesson as always! thank you for your patience and clear explanations
I am so gud at summarising:)
There's always a discrepancy between my passive understanding (reading and listening) of French and my oral skills, a year ago my passive understanding was probably around B1, while my oral competency was stuck around A2-B1, with the help of Emily, I am now able to follow French radio programmes and also use French in a professional context on a daily basis. There's still a long way to go but Emily has helped make the journey more light-hearted ;) Un grand merci!
Great lesson , hope she knows spelling
