    Today we learned about cryptocurrency, which is very interesting. Although I have a very vague idea of what it is, most of what I know comes from entertainment sources (movies, etc). However, I have never thought about the decentralized aspect of it and the notion of it being safe because of this is very interesting to me. As someone with very poor financial knowledge or skills I hope to learn a lot more in the future. Kudos to Teacher Sylvia. She is truly very hardworking and detail-oriented. Her presentation was a very simple way to look at something very confusing, and the way she presents helps endear us to not only her presentation, but also the topic itself.
